Health and Safety

It has come to the University’s attention that during October 2009 two people within the Barnet area have been victims of a crime related to persons impersonating plain clothes police officers.
On each occasion the victims have been informed that there is a police investigation ongoing and that they need to verify who they are (victims). The victims are then asked to get into a vehicle.  During this period the victims are asked to hand over credit cards and pin numbers.  After passing over the details, the victims are released.  Money is subsequently taken from their accounts.

The Metropolitan Police are fully aware of these incidents and are actively looking for these suspects.  If you have encountered these suspects or have information that may assist the Police please contact security on 0208 411 6200. For further information and FAQ's please click here.
