Accessing OASISplus
You can access OASISplus from the University or from any computer anywhere else by following the links from this website or from the following address: http://oasisplus.mdx.ac.uk
Need help logging on to OASISplus?
Your oasis and OASISplus user ID is your student number, which is on the front of your student card. It iconsists of capital M and 8 digits or just 7 digits for students with the old student number. If you are logging on for the first time your default password is your date of birth (DDMMYY). Please note that your Oasisplus account is not linked to your Misis account. Therefore, you need to change the password seperately. Depending on the format of your student number your login details should look like one of the following examples:
- If your student number is M00012345, and you were born on the 1st of February 1984 your details would look like this:
User name: M00012345
Password: 010284
- If your student number is 2234567, you have an old style student number and you were born on the 1st of February 1984 your details would look like this:
User name: 2234567
Password: 010284
NOTE: OASISplus is case sensitive. The 'M' in your user ID should be typed in capital letters. Please also be careful with the figures 1 or 0 - it is easy to mistype these as I or O. Also, your date of birth should be shown in the UK format: DDMMYY rather than the US or Chinese format.
You will be prompted to change your password the first time you log on.
You may change your password to anything you choose, but it must be a minimum of six characters. You may choose numbers or letters; please remember that OASISplus is case-sensitive.
We strongly recommend that you set up a secret question when prompted, in case you forget your password. See how to do it here
Please make sure that you check your University email account regularly to delete any unwanted emails, which will overfill your inbox, and may prevent you from receiving your new OASISplus password.
What to do if you can't access OASISplus
You will only have access to OASISplus if you are FULLY ENROLLED and have REGISTERED for the correct modules, so check your record on MISIS.

Setting up your secret question and answer for your password
We strongly recommend that you set up a secret question and answer when you are prompted to do so the first time you log on. Your will also be asked to type in your email address. You have to use your university email account which is the only email account OASISplus recognises. The secret question will be useful in the future, if you forget your password as it will serve as a reminder. OASISplus verifies your identity and sends your password to your email account.
Please make sure that you check your University email account regularly to delete any unwanted emails, which will overfill your inbox, and may prevent you from receiving your new OASISplus password.
For security reasons, you should not write down your question and secret answer, or share it with anyone else.
Important:
When you type in the answer to your secret question it must match the exact spelling, spaces, and punctuation of your original answer. For example, if your question is "Food you've always liked" and your secret answer is "milk chocolate", if you enter only "chocolate" as your secret answer to confirm your identity, it will not be accepted. Your secret answer is case sensitive. You must enter your university email address in the email box.
