Support on 24-7
Study support at Middlesex is provided in a number of ways. It is designed to help you in your personal and academic development, and to ensure that your university experience is a fulfilling one. Most of the academic support you will need can be found on 24-7.
On top of essential information like staff contact details to help you plan your course of study, there are added extras like information on student exchanges and work placements, both of which can enhance your student experience and boost your CV.
Get ahead of the game by accessing learning resources and obtaining up-to-date information on your programme syllabus and timetable through the Middlesex Integrated Student Information System (MISIS).
You can also access OASISplus - Middlesex's online learning software, which contains past exam papers and timetables. If you experience any difficulties accessing your student email, MISIS or OASISplus contact the Web Helpdesk.
If you're worried about passing assessments, the English Language and Learning Support (ELLS [weblink]) service provides help with all aspects of English language, including oral and written communication skills and study tips.
If you require extra credit, or want to study a specific module purely for fun, then explore the Summer School pages.
Our academic staff are committed to providing a quality learning experience and a number of our staff members have been awarded Teaching Fellowships in recognition of the excellent study support and teaching and learning experiences they offer our students.
Advice on your programme and guidance on module options can be obtained from your programme leader and/or the Director of Programmes. Information about your programme and modules can be found in your Programme Handbook.
The University Regulations [weblink], guidance on progression, and degree award regulations can also be obtained from duty tutor advisors.
